I got some coffee liqueur (Spresso) and started fiddling with a recipe containing that. After some iterations I found that bourbon (I have used bulleit) goes nice with the coffee bitterness. Also Cointreau balances up with some sweetness. Add to that some orange and lemon juice and it is a really tasty thing.

Then what do we call this new cocktail. I wanted to call it Stazione but it turns out there is a cocktail with that name already. A strega/fernet/vermouth combo that doesn鈥檛 sound that great to be honest. But I鈥檒l try it - it has a good name. So instead I settled for Centrale which is alomst the same thing in italiano.
